Environment
Current environmental pressures are putting the overall health of our planet at risk; for example, climate change could be irreversible by 2030. More than ever before, we need strong leaders to protect our environment, yet people lack connection to and knowledge about the nature that surrounds them. Wildlife are facing increased threats of attack, disease spillover, and death due to habitat degradation and loss. For a complex problem that encroaches on so many aspects of our environment, a One Health approach is the only effective option. Through education, research, and conservation of spaces and species, we can improve outcomes in all three areas of the One Health triad.
